Last night, AVADO and CIPD’s online Learning and Development qualification was recognised in the Best Online Distance Learning Programme 2016 category at the Learning Technologies Awards with a Silver Award.
Launched last spring, the CIPD L&D Intermediate Diploma programme was the first CIPD qualification to be offered fully online and was developed by L&D experts and industry figures including Laura Overton, Clive Shepherd and Stella Collins.
The programme has been incredibly popular and is already proving its impact, with 2 out of 3 learners already applying new skills in the workplace prior to completing the programme, with our first group graduating this month.
Andy Lancaster, Head of L&D Content at CIPD commented on the news:
“This is a fitting tribute to the small, brilliant L&D team at CIPD and AVADO that showed creative thinking, dedication and a commitment to design and deliver an excellent learning experience.”
Amy Crawford, Managing Director of Professional Qualifications at AVADO added: “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised by the panel at Learning Technologies for a programme that has been truly pioneering in addressing the L&D skills gap.”
CIPD chose AVADO as their official partner for online qualifications and together the partnershp has now created a series of online L&D and HR programmes. These exclusive qualifications combine CIPD’s subject matter expertise and thought-leadership with AVADO’s online course experience to create learning that works for the HR and L&D professions.
