We recently caught up with AAT graduate, Christopher Holness, on why he chose to study with AVADO and where his learning journey has taken him. Now on to AVADO’s AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting, there’s no stopping him!

In September, it was announced that we were shortlisted for not 1, but 4 Learning Technology Awards. As the premier awards in the EdTech space, we were incredibly proud of all of our nominations.

Last night, Learning Technologies announced the winners of their 2017 awards at a glamorous ceremony in London. AVADO were shortlisted for no fewer than four awards and were delighted to win two Gold Awards.

Melissa Venner was recently chosen as CIPD’s People Management Awards Outstanding Student of the Year 2017, thanks to the incredible results she achieved in her organisation by putting into practice what she learned on her online CIPD L&D qualification with AVADO. We caught up with her to find out the full story.

CIPD and AVADO are delighted to congratulate our L&D graduate, Melissa Venner, who was awarded the Michael Kelly Outstanding Student Award 2017 by the judges of the People Management Awards and described as an “outstanding ambassador for people development.”

A lot of our students tell us they decided to start studying an online qualification in order to switch careers, and Giulianna Boscardin is a great example. Looking to move from L&D into HR, she needed a course that would prepare her for the change without interfering with her home and professional commitments. With a CIPD Level 5 qualification she snagged a new job no problem! Read her full story below.  

New research, released this week by AVADO, has revealed that a quarter (24%) of women on maternity leave are not being offered the same training opportunities as their colleagues. This is having a negative knock-on effect by affecting their readiness to return to work once their maternity leave is over.
